AWS AppSync, a managed GraphQL service with offline and real-time data capabilities, recently launched a series of new features. Following these new functions AWS AppSync has extended its regional footprint. It is now also available in the next AWS region & # 39; s:
- EU-West-1 (Ireland)
- AP-Northeast-1 (Tokyo)
- AP-Southeast-2 (Sydney)
These new regions are in addition to the previously supported regions of US-East-1, US-East-2 and US-West-2.
There are also new functions for API keys. You can now extend the duration of API keys for up to 365 days. In addition, you can create more than 10 API keys (the previous default value was 10). If you want to extend the duration of your API key, go to the AWS AppSync console, select Settings for your API and choose one of the API keys listed. Choose edit and then use the date picker to choose an expiry date. Press Update when you're done.
