Writing JavaScript in the Node.js environment has always felt a bit more difficult; probably because browser developer tools have become incredibly powerful, interactive and visually appealing. The use of console.log on the client side is not the best of experiences and is clearly not interactive.

Although it is not interactive, I have found that the console probe is an improvement over console.log giving me marked properties, lengths and a nice visual tree structure.

const probe = require (& # 39; console-probe & # 39;)

const donut = {
& Id; # & # 39 ;: & # 39; 0001 & # 39 ;,
& # 39; type & # 39 ;: & # 39; donut & # 39 ;,
& # 39; Name & # 39 ;: & # 39; Cake & # 39 ;,
& # 39; description & # 39 ;: & # 39; A small deep-fried cake with sweetened dough, usually in the form of a ball or ring.
& # 39; ppu & # 39 ;: 0.55,
& # 39; just & # 39 ;: where,
& # 39; Studs & # 39 ;:
,
// .....

// Mark neatly to console
const prober = probe.get ()
test device (donut)
